The
Channel
field is where the channel is hard-wired into the original track. Remember, using a Metro Output assignment overrides the hard encoded channel assignments of the original track data. You can have up to 16 independent channels within a track when assigned to an Original Port. To change the channel, simply click on the
Channel
field for each event and enter the channel to which you wish to change it. Ifyour MIDI controller sends out on multiple channels, you can record up to 16channels simultaneously to a single Metro track; those channels can later besplit across multiple tracks using the
Expand By Channel
option under the
Edit
menu.
