Once you enable (or disable) a Metro setting, you must save that setting ifyou want it to remain in effect when you re-open Metro. You save settings by clicking the Save button in any of the Preferences dialog panes. Clicking Save in any of the Preferences dialog panes not only saves all settings listed in that dialog box, but saves most other settings you may have chosen in Metro.

For example, saving any of Metro’s Preferences settings saves many settings chosen from the Setup menu (such as Record Criteria and Record/Play), and most options chosen through Metro doors or dialog boxes.

When you restart Metro, the Preferences you saved will be restored.
