Entering and Editing Tempo Events in the Section Event Editor Window To enter and edit tempo events in the Section Event Editor window: Do one of the following: To change initial tempo, make sure no time range is selected in the GraphicEditor or Tracks Overview windows. To enter a tempo change after the initial tempo, select the time where youwant the new tempo to start by clicking in either the Graphic Editor or TracksOverview windows. Open the Section Event Editor window by choosing Section Event Editor from the Windows menu. Click the Insert popup menu in the upper right corner of the Section EventEditor window and choose Tempo. Metro adds a tempo event to the Event list. In the Data Value column, click the tempo value and type the desired number. Press Enter.
