Selecting Notes, Tracks and Sections for Editing To use any of Metro’s edit operations, you first need to select the data you want to edit.Depending on the type of data you want to edit and the operation you’ll be performing, you’ll select data in different windows and use different methods of selection.For example, if you want to transpose a range of notes, you must first dragacross that range in the Graphic Editor window to select it. If you want totranspose all notes in all tracks in a Section, you first click on that Section in the Sections window to select theSection. Each window also offers Select Tools, for example, the Arrow Tool in the Graphic Editor window allows you to graphically select all notes (andother events including audio) across a specific time interval. Once you feel comfortable selecting data, experiment with various editoperations. For example, try using various commands in the Edit menu or Options menu—you can find explanations for all menu items in Metro Menu Commands.
