Continuous Data

Within the Continuous Data dialog box, you can alter Controller, ModulationWheel, or After Touch events within a selected region. You can use controllerdata to edit audio volume and pan settings, too (see Audio Automation).

To edit continuous data:

  1. In the Graphic Editor or Tracks Overview, select the data you want to edit.

  2. From the Options menu, choose Continuous Data.

The Continuous Data dialog box appears.

  1. In the Select data to change fields, choose the kind of data you want to edit.

  2. In the Select how to change it fields, choose the options you want (seeoptions list below).

  3. Click OK.

Continuous Data editing options:

Set All Values to - if you want to set all values to one level, click Set all values to and enter the desired value in the corresponding field.

Add - if you want to add or subtract a constant value to or from the currentcontroller level, click the Add button and enter a positive number to add to each data event, or a negativenumber to subtract from each data event.

Change to - if you want to scale all current continuous data values by the same percent,click the Change to % button and enter the desired value in the corresponding field.

Change Values Gradually - if you want continuous data values to change gradually from one value toanother, click the Change gradually from button and enter the desired range of values in the corresponding fields.
