Cut Cut removes selected audio and MIDI data from its original location and places iton the Clipboard. Using another edit operation, such as Paste or Merge Data, retrieves this data from the Clipboard. If you perform an edit operationthat does not retrieve this data, such as another Cut, this data will be deleted and lost.
