Undo

Undo allows you to reverse the effect of the last edit operation performed. The operation to be undone is shown after the word 'Undo' in the menu (for example, if you clear some MIDI events, Undo will be called Undo Clear). Undo is extremely useful if you perform an edit operation and don't like the result; choose Undo to revert to the state prior to performing the edit operation.

Undo only reverses the effect of the most recently performed action.

Most operations can be undone. The Undo command will be grayed if unavailable. Be sure to consider carefully beforeperforming undoable operations. In any case, you should always save your filesfrequently. This will allow you to use the Revert command (File menu) to revert to the most recently saved state of the file.
