Import MIDI File Almost all MIDI programs allow you to create Standard MIDI files. You can import any Standard MIDI Files (SMF) into Metro. Standard MIDI Filesmust be Type 0 (single-track merged), Type 1 (multitrack) or Type 2 StandardMIDI Files (SMF) in order to import them. Type 0 and Type 1 files are verycommon and can be found in abundance on the Internet and elsewhere. You can importup to 32 MIDI files (one for each section) into a document. You can also importMIDI files using the File > Open menu command, but this method overwrites theentire document. Drag-and-Drop Support for MIDI Files You can import one or more MIDI files by dragging and dropping MIDI files onthe Metro application icon.
