Forceps Tool Clicking the Forceps Tool allows you to use the mouse to select a square marquee area. In this mode, youcan select any rectangular area within the Notes or Drums display of the Graphic Editor window. This will select notes and Drum Strikes limited in time and pitch. Onlynotes or Drum Strikes within the selected region of pitch and time will be affectedby edit operations. Controllers and other non-note related MIDI data will notbe selected when using the Forceps Tool. Like the Arrow Tool, Control-clicking or double-clicking a note or Drum Strike with the Forceps Tool opens the Note Event Edit dialog box. See Also: Drums Display Selection Tools
