Slider Assign By default the Instruments sliders (faders) are assigned to control theinstrument volume and pan. You can also customize the slider to send controllerinformation or Sysex data. See Assigning SysEx to Instrument Faders . To send controller information or Sysex data using a slider: Click the Assign Volume Slider button in the Define Instruments dialog box. The Slider Assign dialog box appears. Click in the Assign Controller field to make it active. If you know thecontroller number you want, type it in. If you are not sure which number, then usethe arrow keys at the bottom of the dialog. As you click up or down thecorresponding controller type appears to the right of the Assign Controller field.
