Specify the desired input and output controller ranges in the dialog box. Controllers coming in on a record port that fall within the range of input will be scaled and linearly mapped to the output range. It is possible to reverse the polarity of an input controller by specifying the input to be 0 to 127 and the output to be 127 to 0.
If the incoming controller does not match the input range, other remote control controller events will continue to be scanned. What this means is it possible to use a single foot controller, for example, to control multiple controllers on a MIDI device.
