Expanding by SubSections Expand by SubSections (Edit menu) places all MIDI data contained in each SubSection of a selected track into the current Section as multiple linear tracks. Metro Creates a new track for each Output originally used in the SubSections. Expand by SubSections expands all SubSections regardless of any selected rangein the Graphic Editor, Event Editor, or Tracks Overview windows. To expand by SubSections: Select the track containing the SubSection events that you want to expand. Choose Expand by SubSections from the Edit menu’s Expand submenu. Expanding by SubSections retains the data in SubSections but removes theSubSection framework surrounding the data. This frees up your allotment ofSubSections; you can place up to 64 new SubSections in the expanded track if you want. Remember, if you are simply running out of room to add more SubSections withina single track, you can always place additional SubSections within othertracks in the same Section.
