Merge Data Merge Data combines MIDI and audio data on the Clipboard with data in the currentselection. Unlike the Paste command, Merge Data does not replace existing data, but combines both the existing data and theClipboard data. If you select an entire Section to merge, then certain aspects of the Section will be merged depending onwhich window is currently active. Merging a Section into: The Section window merges the entire Section. The Tracks window merges all tracks in the Section in their original orderstarting at the selected track Number. The Notes or Drums display of the Graphic Editor window merges starting at thecursor insert point, and merges the first track of the Section to thecurrently selected track. The Continuous Data Display of the Graphic Editor window merges only thecontinuous data for the first track in the Section starting at the insertion pointof the currently active track.
