Expand by SubSections Expand by SubSections allows you to convert all SubSections in a track into multiple linear MIDIand audio tracks. This is necessary when exporting MIDI files. Using Expand by SubSections is also helpful if you want to drag a Section containing SubSections into another Section. Expanding the Section first by SubSections avoids the 'Nested SubSections are not supported' alert if the SubSection is placed within another Section. Once your SubSections are as you want them, you can use Expand by SubSections to create linear data, thus giving you linear tracks which can be used to create new SubSections. Expand by Subsections creates a new MIDI or audio track representing every Metro Output that was part of the original unexpanded SubSections.
