Velocity Stem Edit Tool From within the Notes or Drums display of the Graphic Editor, you can use the Velocity Tool to edit individual note velocities, or scale a selected range of velocities.From within the Notes display, just click on the desired note’s Velocity Stem and drag it up or down to increase or decrease velocity. Fromwithin the Drum Grid display, click on the Drum Strike icon and drag it up or down to increase or decrease velocity; the Drum Strike’s icon will change in relation to the new level of the velocity setting. The Velocity Tool is not available within the Graphic Editor’s Controller, Pitch Bend, After Touch, Poly After Touch, Tempo, and AverageVelocity displays. You can scale the velocities of a selected range of notes or Drum Strikes bychoosing the Velocity Tool and clicking on a note or Drum Strike within the current selection anddragging up or down. The relationship between the Note On velocities of the selecteddata will be preserved - great for lowering or raising the overall dynamic of aselection without changing the original feel.
