Trying to understand LeadGen Scale creation from ChordMarker

Postby Lytz1 » Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:46 am

so I am trying to understand now how the LeadGenerator creates scales from chord-markers.
Sometimes the scales are completely off the rails, sometimes it nails it quite perfectly.

Does the Lead Generator, when it creates ad-hoc scales from the chord-markers, take only the current marker into account,
the neighboring markers as well or all markers in the song (which is unlikely)?

Thanks,
tL.

I believe it is based on the currently selected markers.

So probably range-selection in the arrangement also does count?

Well, I usually select a range in the song, never select markers directly.

So this can't be based on selected markers, unless the markers also get selected when a range-selection
is made in the song.

It is the markers that are within the graphic editor selection.
