Problems with Sampletank

Postby axnyslie » Mon Mar 03, 2014 9:13 pm

I'm trying to use sample tank sampler plug-in with Metro. It's been working fine for years but seems to not work correctly now. For one, instead of one plug-in being open, each track that gets assigned to it is opening a new plug-in window. When I ran the 7.2.2 update it messed ups a track and is no longer assigned to Sampletank and will not reassign to it. What I really need to know is how do I eliminate the plug-in windows and start over ? Every time I close a window it just reappears again. They list as T01: T02: T03: etc. when they would only be one.

What are your system specs?

I use Sampletank all the time.

There was however a serious problem with the PowerPC version of Metro and 7.2.2. If you are running on a PowerPC please download 7.2.2.1 and try again.

If you are running on an intel machine, if you go to the plug-ins window and right-click on sampletank, is it set for 'muti-timbral' operation?

It is an Intel Core Duo Mac Mini 2009 model & MOTU 828 mkII. I checked it is in Multitimbral mode. Should I be using VST or Music Device V2? Should it be applied to Track or Aux Bus? I'm trying to close out all the plug-ins and start over without losing midi data but I can't figure out how to do that.

I sent you an email "Give me a call anytime after 12 PM noon and I can probably help you get to the bottom of this." that included my phone number.
