Useless playlist: Jukebox

I found the jukebox function pretty useless, since I could use Itunes to play back audio files in any order... What I look for in a playlist is a list that will playback, in an order that I set and with the possibility of setting the time gap between songs, pause on next song...all programmable, AND playback the files I generated in the program: Audio AND MIDI, and video... I'm having a terrible hard time to find that in a program for the Mac...I've tryed D. Performer, Ardour, Ableton, Cubase and now Metro. I could only find that in a PC with Sonar 4.

Metro will do that within the Sections Window.
