Latency and Sample Buffers

Postby jukehouse » Thu Apr 21, 2005 7:38 am

I recently obtained a M-Audio Pro Keystation 88.
I am noticing quite a bit of latency in playing it.
Keyboard magazine in their review of the Pro 88 indicate that turning down the samle buffers will help.
Where and how do I do that ?
Im using OSX with Sample Tank[/i]

Go to Digital-Audio from the Setup menu then click device options. You will see a popup called 'Audio-Packet-Size'. The higher the value the more latency but also the more processing you will be able to get.
