Which OS? Panther? 10.3.?
Which Metro? Full? SE? LX?
Version 6.1 or the latter 6.2.4 type?

Midi or Audio interface connected in your setup through USB?

I've never found Metro to drop any ethernet connection.
Usually I can sit here.....work with metro and then answer questions without my router giving me any idea its gone offline.

This only happened (twice, didn't try a third time) when recording audio.
10.2.8, midisport 8x8s, internal audio card, Metro SE.

I have never heard of this before. If it is true, then with the very little to go on, I would presume it to be a hardware problem.
