Cloning SubSections SubSections and the Parent Section are dynamically linked; edit operations you perform to one affect the other. If you want an independent SubSection, you can create a copy or a 'clone' that is independent from the Parent Section. Each copy of a SubSection in a track constitutes an additional SubSection; you have a maximum limit of 64SubSections in a track. You create clones by Option-clicking and holding the mouse on the Parent Section's Selector Triangle (in the Sections window) and dragging it into a track in the Graphic Editor window. Metro labels copied, or cloned, SubSections with the word 'copy' at the end of their Names. You can view and edit the tracks contained within the copied Section by using the SubSection pop-up within the Tracks window.
