Syncing to Tape (FSK to MIDI Clock) Syncing to tape is achieved with an FSK to MIDI Clock converter (such as theMIDI Transport by Passport). To sync Metro to FSK-generated MIDI Clock: Select Clock Sync from the Sync setting pop-up menu in Metro’s enlarged Transport window. Choose MIDI Setup from the Setup menu and select the Receive Sync button under the appropriate port. Click Record (or Play) in Metro’s Transport; Metro will remain in a pause mode until it receives MIDI Clockdata from the master syncing device, at which time it will begin recording (orplaying).
