The Sonorus STUDI/O If you own a Sonorus STUDI/O audio card, you can use it to record and play audio in Metro using the ASIO or Direct I/O drivers. Use the Digital Audio Setup dialog, reached through the Setup menu's Digital Audio command, to configure Metro's audio settings for the STUDI/O. In the Digital Audio Setup dialog, click Recording Settings to configure theSTUDI/O card. The StudI/O Parameters dialog box appears. When Monitoring send other tracks on same port to When you monitor incoming audio from a particular STUDI/O input, you should direct Metro's existing audio tracks to a different port. Use this popup to set the destination. If you don't route existing tracks to a different audio port than the one you're using for a monitor, you will only hear the incoming audio, not the existing audio tracks. Audio Buffer Packet Size Select the size of audio buffers Metro uses. Smaller sizes require morecomputer horsepower, but make Metro more responsive. Card Configuration The STUDI/O can be configured to use either 16 channels of digital audio (8 channels of 'lightpipe' on each of 2 ADAT connections), or 10 channels (8 channels of 'lightpipe' and 2 SPDIF). Clock Source Choose where Metro will get its timing information to keep all the audio (andMIDI) in sync. Record Left (Mono) and Right Use these popup menus to set source Metro will use to record audio. Whenrecording in Mono, Metro only uses the port assigned to the Left channel.
