Program Names to Tracks When you select tracks and choose the Program Names to Tracks command, Metro copies the existing Program name selected for each track to its Name field (a track set to a 'Guitar' Program would be named Guitar, for example). This is particularly useful when dealing with type 0 Standard MIDI files from the Internet and elsewhere. When you open a type 0 file it will be set up to play different Programs on each track, but will not always have a name listed for each track.
