Scale Tempos To Preserve Time If you click the Scale Tempos to Preserve Time checkbox in the Scale Time dialog box (Options menu), time is compressed orexpanded by altering tempo values. This allows you to compress or expand the MIDInote data in the selected range without changing its overall rhythm.
