Channel You can change the MIDI transmission channel of all selected events byentering the desired channel number and clicking OK. Note: MIDI channels hard assigned to individual note events across a given track will be ignored unless that track’s Output is assigned directly to “Port:.” In other words, every MIDI channel of every MIDI event across any given track will be reassigned to the MIDI channel and output port of that track’s currently selected Metro Output (or Outputs). An Output’s MIDI channel and port can be changed within the Define Output dialog. The Define Output dialog can be accessed by Option-clicking on a Metro Output Name in the Tracks or Graphic Editor windows, or double-clicking on an Output’s Name at the bottom of the Instruments Mixer window.
