QuickTime

Metro takes full advantage of many QuickTime features, including the abilityto import and export files of different formats. Metro imports WAV files, SoundDesigner II documents, AVI files and QuickTime movies. Metro exports AudioTracks as Quicktime Movies, AIFF, System 7 sound, WAV and uLaw files.

To export Audio tracks using QuickTime:

  1. Choose File-Export Audio Tracks to File Dialog

  2. Select Quicktime Export

  3. Choose the file format from the format pop-up menu (below the filename field).

  4. Click Save.

Clicking the options button will allow you to set the compression algorithmbit depth, sample rate and whether the file is mono or stereo.
