Channel The Channel setting allows you to set the MIDI channel that will transmit the program (patch) you want to hear. The channel selectedhere is also the channel on which Step Recorded notes will be transmitted andentered. In addition, the Channel setting affects which program names are selected when the track is set to a Port (only if program names were entered in the first place). Remember, the Channel setting does not affect playback of MIDI data that has already been recordedinto a Metro track. See Also: The Graphic Editor Window
