Current Cursor Position When you position the cursor within the display area of the Graphic Editor window, the start point is shown in the Current Cursor Position display in the upperleft corner of the Graphic Editor window. The Current Cursor Position displayis shown either in SMPTE time (if SMPTE Display is enabled in the Switches menu) or in Bars, Beats, and Clocks (if Bar Display is enabled in the Switches menu). When dragging a note (using Shift-click to extend its duration) or a SubSection, the top line of the Current Cursor Position display shows the time that theobject ends; below the pitch indicator, the current duration is shown in Bars,Beats, Clocks. The Duration indicator is particularly useful for placing eventsthat need to end at a specific SMPTE time. See Also: Time Code
