Lock Markers or Chord Changes Locking Markers or Chord Changes sets them to precise SMPTE locations. LockingMarkers is very useful if the tempo of your piece changes. Locked Markers andChord Changes won’t change SMPTE locations; they’ll adhere to the SMPTE time stamp to which they were originally set. To lock a Marker to a SMPTE time stamp, just click the Lock icon so it closes; to unlock a Marker, click the Lock icon so it opens. After naming and setting the location of the Marker, click OK. The Marker will appear in the Graphic Editor and Tracks windows at theappropriate location.
