Looping in the Track Window

Clicking in the Loop column infinitely loops playback of that track. The track loop encompasses theentire track length, which is displayed in the Bars column. A Loop icon appears to indicate the track is looped; clicking the Loopicon removes it and disables track looping.

If a range of a track is looped, rather than the entire track, two loop arrowsappear in the Loop icon.

note02.gifNote: You loop playback of ranges within tracks using the Looping dialog box (Special menu). Loops cannot be saved in Standard MIDI file format. Audio tracks and synthesizer plug-in tracks, such as VSTi's, (currently) do not support loop ranges within tracks.
