Naming Tracks in the Track Window Name tracks by Option-clicking in the Name column on the appropriate track’s row, then typing in the desired name and pressing the Return key, or clicking on another track Name. Hitting the Enter key (as opposed to Return) will move the cursor down to the next track Name in order to facilitate thenaming of multiple tracks. Hitting the Return key, or clicking on another track name, will get you out of Track Naming mode. The width of the Track name display and other columns in the Tracks window canbe resized by positioning the mouse over the right-hand border of the displayand dragging the mouse to the right or the left. The mouse cursor changes to aResizing tool when positioned over the edge of a column. Clicking on a track name selects the entire contents of that track.
