hello,

Could someone tell me if it's possible to control Dmx light with some plugs or programs in Metro ?

Hi françois,

I'm not that familiar with DMX lighting, but I believe that most consoles are midi capable. If you have one that is, and it can be configured to respond to Continuous Controllers, you could use Metro's track automation to control it. You can also assign a Fader in Metro to send Midi CCs (and other data) through an external midi interface. Hope this is helpful.

You can also place Midi CC data within a sequence to trigger the device at a specific point in time. Some DMX consoles can also sync to an external midi clock, so your lights can easily follow the tempo of your Metro project.

yes it's nice to have lightings following the bass drum or the snare drum for exemple.
Do you now if it exist some dmx mac applications ?
