Routing Thru Aux Bus

Can anyone tell me how to route an audio channel in the mixer window (let's say a vocal) thru an Aux Bus channel in the mixer window (using 6.1). I've figured out how to create the Aux Bus and assign a VST effect to it but am stuck in trying to get my Audio track routed thru the Aux Bus.
