Sync Metro to Roland VS-1824?

Postby maikunari » Wed Jul 28, 2004 8:35 pm

HI all,

Considering purchasing Metro and just wondering if I can sync it to my hard disk recorder, preferably using metro as the slave.

Thanks very much,

Mike

Have you downloaded a demo and tried it?

Does the VS output a SMPTE signal? If so, I can't think
of any reason why it won't work. I've synced Metro to
tape-track SMPTE plenty of times.

Roland's VSaudio recorders can be controlled with MMC or MTC.

I work with my VS using LOGIC via MMC or MTC. Then the VS becomes an external audio card with 16 audio tracks. Which code I use depends on if I want Logic to control VS or if I want the VS to control LOGIC

Can Metro be set to use MMC or MTC to control the Roland VS audio recorder?

If so, how do I set that up in METRO?
