Audio Devices, Drivers and Intel Macs

Just wondering if audio devices without universal or intel drivers can be 'seen' by metro on an Intel Mac.

or is it like the PowerPC plugins that don't appear when Metro is running its Intel Version.


Say if a MOTU 828 had a PowerPC only driver, would Metro 6.3.3 working in Rosetta allow it to work?

Just thought it may be a consideration when on the search for buying an audio device.
