upgraded to full version...can i transfer my lx license?

or are they tied together as one license? i know someone who'd like to become a metro user, and i don't use lx anymore...

Well if you paid for an upgrade then you just upgraded the old license which would mean it is not transferrable. If you paid the full price for the full version then you can transfer the LX license.
