Why does Metro still link with Deck?

Aren't they 2 competing programs?
Does deck do anything amazing that Metro can't?

Then again I had deck and it got me to go and and buy Metro so I shouldn't really comment.

Deck support is in there because it works in OS 9. Also we are working with Bias to support the connection in OS X.

I suppose in a way. However both Deck and Metro have very loyal users. Deck does not support MIDI and Bias has a lot of users that need to use MIDI.

Amazing... hmmm.. I wouldn't consider 5.1 amazing.

I guess you could get a semi 5.1 system by allocating separate tracks to such a system and linking certain speakers with a crossfade. A lot of farting around for an effect hardly anyone can hear.
