Metro 6.0.4 Officially Released

Metro 6.0.4 is officially released and is accessible to registered users at:

This version fixes numerous problems some of which were first mentioned here. The important ones are:

The .ins file import slowness is gone.

Synthesiser plug-ins such as VSTi's or AudioUnit Music Devices work much better with subsections and also stay on more consistently.
Synthesiser plug-ins note off times were not being calculated precisely.

Subsections can now be colorized.

Mix Audio Tracks now has a packet size field.

Multiple-audio outputs are now named properly for core-audio devices.
Previously they were named device1 and device2 for the first 2 stereo outputs. Now they are named device 1+2 and device 3+4. This corresponds much better to the input device naming and shows that they are indeed stereo.

Other bugs were also fixed.

Indeed much better! the SC8850 loads in... err .. zero seconds

One slightly related bug issue:

In the Graphic Editor window, if you change the Bank, the new Bank+Program is not resent to the device.. so if you want to listen to the instrument that is at the same program number, in the new bank, you need to re-select the same program again.
That can be confusing, when looking for a specific program while hitting the keyboard to search for a specific sound...

I believe that is standard. Metro only sends bank info when you select bank and program info when you select program. How the synth handles it is up to it however most do not change anything until a program is sent to it.
