EQ magazine mentions Metro 6

Postby Jazzdude » Wed May 28, 2003 5:51 am

The current issue of EQ magazine has an article on Mac OSX. The writer, Dan Brown, briefly mentions Metro 6 in a very positive light, commenting on it's being the only MIDI/DAW on OSX that supports both VST and Audio Units. He says, "I was stunned when I opened the Metro 6 effects window and saw my plug-in list run entirely off the page!"
Kudos to Jeremy and friends!

Hey, is it too soon for one of these magazines to do a full review?
Seems like it would boost support for Metro. :D

That's great.

Is there a URL or web page where we can see the article or is it one of those ink only paper type things? :)

(Electronic Musician do back issues online without pictures. It does encourage you to buy the magazines to get the full affect).

If you go to:

http://www.eqmag.com

the link is found under the "Features" menu,
then "Future Proof Your Studio",
then "Mac OSX".

I can't find it either but it is funny to read articles like who's switched to OSX and complaints about companies not moving to audio units quick enough, when they should really be annoyed at those apps not supporting VST anymore.
