Shauna,

I think "stringplucka" was just making a joke. I hope you took it that way. In my opinion, I hope that the Mac is never like the PC. I am more than happy with my machine. You mentioned that you like Macs better... great. So why not buy one? Is there something that you do on your PC that you feel you can't do on a Mac? If you are a little more specific, I'm sure readers in this forum will be glad to help out... they sure have helped me out a lot. Keep in mind, however, that this forum is not a General Mac QA forum. It is a General Metro QA forum.

re: Mac ever like PC?

I went to school for four years for computer tech stuff including learning programs and all were Windows/PC and I'd bring all my homework home and do it on my Mac then I'd save all my work in the PC program versions I was working on at school on a CD so when I went to school I could open it and get graded on the PC there.

My Mac saved me time because to me the system is not only user friendly but it runs more stable on programs also there were much more ways to manipulate and save any types of files..(audio,pictures,movie,...) that I work on.
The PC to me (windows) still has too many hangs and freezes that keep me from being productive.
Whatever programs you run at school or need for school work they can be done on the Mac and you can open and save anything you need at school in any PC format or version. Also Maclink is a nice addition to manipulate any file you have in a PC format on your Mac.
