Revolutions get lost when expanding pattern in RevArp

Postby Lytz1 » Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:18 pm

So here's another one:

When I have set up some revolutions in the Revo-Arp
and then do "expand pattern", they get all lost. (All degrees reset to "1" and loose
the "movement")

That's not so good.

Also: When using "Randomize Rhythm" all "C" settings get lost.
(Everything resets to "--" instead of 1+3, chord, etc...)

That's also not so good.

Best,
tL.

When I tried it the pattern was expanded and each time a 'revolution' step was hit, the pitch was recalculated based on the revolution data. This seems like the correct approach as if you just expanded the revolution data you would get different results that the original.

This was a bug that is now fixed. It also affects Randomize.

Yes, you're right. Don't know how I missed that.

Awesome. Yeah, now I remember something odd was going on with randomizing as well.
At the time I thought this was the usual behavior of the randomize function.
That's why I didn't use it for quite some time now.
