Virtual Instrument Remnant Windows

After clearing an instrument from a track, I am still seeing it in the menus as:

UN1:[MachFive3]
UN1:[Battery3]
UN1:[C700]

As far as I can see they are gone from the project but I can still select them? Have I not unloaded them completely? When I click on them in the menu, their window comes up but I cannot interact with it.

Hello Robert,

This is to be expected. They exist only in the undo history. So you can recover them if you do some undos. They will eventually disappear when you exhaust your undo history.


To completely remove them from memory you can save your file and then re-load it or you can use the 'new' command (or you could set your undo buffer very small, not recommended).
