Yosemite??

Postby GSpro » Fri Oct 17, 2014 9:29 am

Hello forum.

Getting ready to do a clean install for Yosemite.
Before I do that, I need to make sure that Metro is OK with the new OS. If not, I'll stay in 10.9.5 until, Metro is updated.

Thanks

I just installed Yosemite (OSX 10.10) today and ran Metro through a series of preliminary tests. I did not find any problems. Note that this is preliminary and Yosemite has not undergone thorough testing but initially it appears everything is working.

If anyone finds something to the contrary please post here.

Thank you, Jerm.

I think, I'll install 10.10 on a separate partition for testing purpose, just in case.

WARNING:

There is a problem in the open dialog under Yosemite.

Apple again has released an OS with serious bugs in it. This bug causes Metro to crash before the files even come up.
I have made Apple aware of this and they admit that it appears to be a problem they created.

This has already been fixed with a workaround that is yet unreleased (Metro v7.2.6).

Proceed with caution until 7.2.6 is released. You can still open documents by dragging them into the tracks window or graphic editor.
