Phrase paste tool.

Postby Lytz1 » Thu Jul 10, 2014 8:07 am

Hello Jeremy,

I am trying to figure out how the phrase paste tool works. Somehow I cant get it to do anything.

My thoughtprocess was that when I have played a small melody-figure for example, I (cmd-c) copy it to clipboard.
Then I use the phrase paste tool to paste it into the new key.

However this doesnt work at all, so I must have missed something or simply did it the wrong way.
(or maybe misunderstood the function of the tool at all?)

Any help on that matter?

Best,

tL.

I think you are doing it right, the feature appears to be broken in the current version... still researching this.

Nice to hear that, because that will be something I am sure I will use quite a lot.

I think it works a little different that that. The pasted version is in the specified scale (not key) and has a new starting position of that scale depending if you drag up or down.
