Possible to export only selected part as MIDI?

Hey J' ,

can you tell me if its possible to export only the selected notes/parts of a track as midi file?

Or something similar to this?

I am getting a lot of good results when I am working and because various patterns / phrases add up very very quickly here

I am thinking about some way to archive single MIDI phrases, for later use in other projects.

I couldn't come up with a satisying solution yet so

maybe you got some tips or hints on that matter.

I am not sure because I think it will always output the entire section. Possible workarounds:

1. Copy - paste to new section, export
2. File feature request to export only current selection as MIDI file.

a snapshots feature that would capture a selection or a grouped selection, perhaps?

I also noticed that muted tracks do not get exported, so IF this would work the other way
'round with SOLO as well (meaning that only soloed tracks get exported) would do the trick already.
Can't check it now. Will do so later.
