M-Audi Axiom Controler Instruction

Here's a Metro Remote Control set up for the M-Audio Axiom 49 2nd gen. keyboard controllers. it should also work for other 2nd gen. Axioms and possibly the Axiom 1st gen. and the Axiom Air models.





Here's easy to understand instructions for programing the Axiom keyboard controllers.

Programing The Transport Controls

1.Press a Transport Button and Edit at the same time.

2. Select the Control Assign key and enter the control number 20-25 and then press the enter key.

3. Press the edit button and select channel assign key and select channel 1and press the enter key.

Programing the Volume Sliders And Pan Knobs.

1. Press the edit button while turning the pan knob or moving the volume slider.

2. Select the Control Assign key and enter 10 for pan and 7 for volume. and then select the enter key.

3. Press the edit button and select the Channel Assign key and enter 1-8 and 9 for the Master Volume slider and then select the enter key.

4. Press the edit button and select the Data 2 key and enter 0 and then select the enter key.

5. Press the edit button and select the Data 3 key and enter 127 and then select the enter key.

I have the original Axiom 25 and I still love it although the octave transpose button needs to be pressed really hard to function. I should really get a 49 but somehow the 25 keeps one disciplined in that you have to learn to use many chord inversions you might otherwise not (especially with a half broken octave transpose button).
