Multiple MIDI channel out to multiple tracks ?

Postby abovethoughts » Sun Dec 22, 2013 8:34 pm

Hi -

I have a few VSTi plugs that output multiple MIDI channels, so what I am looking to achieve is track one has the MIDI VSTi plug outputing channel 2 to track 2, channel 3 to track3, channel 4 to track4, etc? Not sure where to begin in this process?

With Metro this is very easy. What you want is to mark your vst plug-in as 'multimbral'. See this page for more information on how to set that and what it does.

Once the plug-in is designated multi-timbral, it is a simple matter to assign the channel to the track in the tracks window or graphic editor popups.
