Problem with SE 6.4.8?

Postby spridget » Wed Sep 16, 2009 5:08 pm

Today is the first day I have tried to work in SE 6.4.8, and I am finding that the Graphic Editor window shows the same track no matter which track is selected in the Tracks window. I have tried several files made prior to 6.4.8 and have also imported several new tracks. No difference and true for both MIDI and audio tracks. The operating system is 10.6 on a 2009 Mac Pro. Previous versions of SE have not had this (or any other serious) problem.

I have solved this. Apparently when I upgraded to the newest SE the (general) Preferences checkbox 'sync track selection in graphic editor' was unchecked. I had never previously noticed there was such a choice. It is now checked, and the selected track appears in the graphic editor as I need.

This is a feature that was added. Sorry for the confusion.

When it is unchecked you can double click the track in the tracks window and it will add that track to the graphics window if it is not there already.
