Battery 1 (or 2 I can't remember) worked well with Metro. NI has not provided us with NFR's of the Battery 3 so I have not verified compatibility.

There are many other drum plug-ins that are excellent. Check the links page. Some are:

Addictive Drums
iDrum
GURU
BFD
Stylus RMX
uTonic
and more.

thanks jerm.
addictive drums seems to be very very nice, but I only have a G4 1,5 GHz, for this reason I hope t obuy battery 3 ( the démo version features very easy job ).
On stage I would like to pilote the plug by my drummer, but in the transport window metro only have one choice for the midi out command.
Could you tell me if it's possible to use battery in stand alone and use my keyboard for other remote controls ?
In the case of stand alone, how can I do for the battery's Program changes ?

I am not sure what you are talking about in the transport. If you are referring to MIDI thru, all you have to do is record enable multiple tracks and it will automatically send MIDI thru from the inputs to the outputs on all record-enabled tracks. That is, as long as Auto MIDI thru is on.

Battery 3 looks okay in Metro under a Intel Mac. Looks as if the sounds take a while to load relative to other apps/things out there.

If Francois is loading lots of songs in sections, the time between each song being ready may be too long?

Just a thought.

in fact, in my live sessions, I play almost 50 songs.
what I need is that my drummer will able to play the battery 3 sounds with is midi set ( in stand alone or in direct plug under metro ? )
and I also need to drive some remoted parameters with my keyboard ( lights, songs maps ).
could you tell me what is the best for me ?

Why would you play metro through the battery standalone?
Isn't the VST plugin there for play in metro?

yes your right, it's not usefull to play with the standalone versioon. But I' m not very ready with the plugs for instance.

do you think jerm would be able to create more than 8 aux busses ?

You could place the plugin on a track rather than an aux.

Because you were talking about the demo of battery, I was thinking if you don't have battery, maybe Addictive Drums could be better.
(check in the "Another VSTi drum kit." message).

Battery is a very slow plugin to load.

yes but if I use the same battery kit, it not would be necessary to ope another plug. In the aux you use the same plug for many songs.
I bought battery, it's very nice. But it I open a lot of plugs
it will be hard for my PB ( 70 songs on stage )
